How it works
The laser targets pigment in the skin, bringing it up to the surface, where it will then flake off or diminish in appearance. This will clear the skin of freckles, age spots, dark spots and pigmentation without damaging the surrounding unaffected skin.

Before treatment, ensure the skin is clear of self tanner, makeup, or moisturizer. It is advised to
avoid any irritants including hydroxy acids and retinoids for a week before treatment. It is important to disclose your medical history and any prescription medications you are taking as they may have contraindications with the laser technology.

There is no downtime following the procedure, however it is advised to avoid direct sunlight, vigorous activity, and abrasive cleansers, retinoids, and exfoliants on the skin for the first few days after treatment. Additionally, avoid scratching the area as it may lead to scarring. It is recommended to apply a cool compress, use medical grade sunscreen during the day, keep the area clean, and apply polysporin if you experience blistering. Avoid aspirin, Advil, Fish Oil supplements and other anti-inflammatory products to prevent bruising and opt for Tylenol if needed.
